Well it has been a busy stud season and we have five foals on the ground this year - our fabulous Warrawee Ashantee had her fifth filly in a row - this one by Jive Magic.

Adronica has a colt foal at foot by Warrawee Bandanna - a full brother to Reserve Australian Champion Yearling Anglo Warrawee Preevu - this colt is really special.

Warrawee Katareenah has had an Arabian Warmblood colt by Warrawee Deecor - his second foal on the ground - tall and leggy with type and movement.

We attended the Arabian Classic early January and our super Arabian Warmblood
yearling filly Warrawee Beyoncee went Supreme Arabian Warmblood - this filly has
been an eyecatcher drawing a lot of admirers since her birth and at our Open Day prior to the Australian Championships 2009.

Both geldings are for sale - see sales list. We were very proud of our youngsters and thanks to Silvio Galea who trained them, and Rebecca Lewin who prepped and showed them for us with Silvio.
Our Reserve Australian Champion Anglo filly Warrawee Maybee Madonna has been broken to saddle and is now being prepped for Barastoc and the Aussies in Sydney at Halter. She will then go to Clint Bilson for a few weeks saddle work.

In October the purebred filly Warrawee Uniq won her Newcomer Galloway Class at Seymour Ag. Show – her first outing under saddle and then on two weeks later was Champion Purebred Ridden at Goulburn Valley A Class Show - well done.

Warrawee Veneetia is continuing with her ridden career with dressage and some jumping in the future.

John Findlay’s 17hh Australian Champion halter & ridden Partbred gelding by Warrawee Grandee – Gleneagles Giorgio placed 4th in the prestigious Garryowen at the Royal Melbourne Show ridden by Bekky Allen – what a wonderful achievement for this very young horse. He has since been sold. Congratulations to his new owner Deb Cheeseman.

We are so pleased to announce that the Arabian Warmblood yearling gelding Warrawee Intreeg has been sold to John Findlay. He is the first foal sired by Warrawee Deecor. We are sure Intreeg will reach the highest levels in his halter and ridden career and give John much pleasure - hopefully as much as Giorgio. He is presently in show preparation for Barastoc. Best of luck with this wonderful youngster John.

The Australian National Champion Arabian Warmblood Gelding Symarrons Darby sired by Warrawee Grandee was Supreme Derivative and Supreme Overall at the CARABI all breeds at Whittlesea on the 13th September 2009. This Arabian Warmblood gelding by Warrawee Grandee has since gone from success to success in halter and under saddle most recently Supreme Ridden Derivative at the Versatile Arabian Show. We will be there to cheer him on at the Australian Championships in Sydney.

Warrawee Mardee Gras is heading to Sydney to the Championships - wow this horse is turning out to be amazing, at the Nationals 1st and 2nd Dressage and 2nd in strong

The Anglo gelding Warrawee Reegardez Moi has been successfully competing but unfortunately he suffers from the Queensland Itch and a new home in the south is sought for this wonderful young horse.

Warrawee Marquee was successful at the Crabbet Show where he won the elementary
ridden derivative gelding and were awarded Champion elementary ridden, and also came first in the open ridden 15h and over class. Warrawee Loleeta won her Amateur Owner Class and went Reserve Champion Arabian Warmblood. Congratulations to their owner Helene Jennings.
Phillipa Jordan-Hill reports of her first ride on her Anglo gelding Matangi Nahi "Nelson" sired by Warrawee Grandee at a John Chatterton Clinic - "I am so pleased with him. He was calm and willing. I am a very happy girl" great news Phillipa.

We are pleased to hear that other Warrawee horses are continuing to compete with success to give their owners pleasure i.e. Warrawee Chain Reeaction in his dressage, the stallion Warrawee A'Bandom, Warrawee Breez has been out and about at halter successfully achieving many Championships before commencing his saddle career mid year. The beautiful Warrawee Three Wishes is also progressing with her ridden work. Warrawee Amadeeus continues to impress not only his owner but reportedly everyone who sees him.
Fiona Abbott is enjoying Warrawee Eevita under saddle - where in her first competition she placed 1st in one dressage test and 2nd in another with nice comments from the judges.
Warrawee Queen of Hearts has been out with success - at the Vic.Championships in November she took out Reserve Champion Arabian Warmblood mare, and Reserve Champion Warmblood Mare Amateur owner and many successes since then. She is also progressing nicely with her saddle work since being broken in recently and we certainly will be watching out for her and hopefully we will see her at the Championships in Sydney also. Congratulations to Victoria Park Arabians.

Our Bandomol daughter Warrawee La Veeda just home from the breaker 3 weeks took out Reserve Champion Anglo Mare at the Vic Championships - just taken out for a bit of experience as she hadn't been off the property and she looked great. Thanks Bec Lewin for her preparation and some work under saddle since the breaker.

Al-Kareeme Armani (Warrawee Versacee/Warrawee Symphonee) went Champion Led Hack at the South Australian Show Horse Council Horse of the Year Show in October. Congratulations to his owner Pernilla Butters. Evidently his saddle work is progressing nicely too.
We have had recent news that the endurance horses Warrawee Lazan with Carol Bourke and Warrawee Savahn with Blake Freeman are competing successfully. Great. Also a couple of Warrawee endurance horses are competing in the United Arab Emirates.
The "A" Class Versatile Arabian Show was the last of the qualifying shows for the
Championships in Sydney - a wonderful win for the partbred filly Goodie Two Shoes by the Anglo stallion Warrawee Versacee (sire Warrawee Grandee). Followed on by Champion Partbred, Junior Champion Derivative, and Supreme Derivative - congratulations to her owner Donna McCarroll and to Al-Kareeme Stud. She is off to Sydney and the Championships.

News just in from Derinda Smith of her recently born Anglo colt Montenegro sired by Warrawee Grandee. Thank goodness a happy ending. He was born septic and they nearly lost him but after a long month of special care Derinda and her family felt confident they could share their pleasure with us. Photos at time of his birth and now - what a beautiful foal Derinda and much loved.

We are fortunate enough to have our wonderful Warrawee Georgiee Girl back on lease from Al Kareeme Stud and she is in foal to Jive Magic for a 2010 foal. Georgiee was Supreme Derivative Foal at the Magic Breed Foal show at her only showing.

News from Julie and Emma Crocker of Warrawee Highlight (the reining Australian National Champion Arabian Warmblood Mare). At VASA late January - with over 40 entries - 3rd placing Ridden Show Hunter.
