News from Warrawee - November 2012

After quite some time we are up-dating our website and we hope everyone will keep in touch with us with news of Warrawee horses.

Following a recent bout of ill health and our age - we have decided that sadly we must make the decision to sell the majority of our horses and breed only on a very reduced scale. We therefore invite prospective buyers who may be interested to make contact with us. We would like the horses to go to homes where they are used and hopefully we will get enjoyment from following their careers.. We are proud of the quality of the horses offered and but for our circumstances many of them would have been retained. A lease of the saddle horses and an option to purchase may be available to show homes.

The 2011 breeding season saw only four foals bred by us - an Anglo filly by Warrawee Bandanna - Warrawee Storee Time - out of Warrawee Love Storee, an Anglo gelding by Warrawee Grandee - Warrawee Springsteen -out of the ASB mare Mirielle, and two Royal Hit Arabian Warmbloods - a filly out of Warrawee Azuree - Warrawee Anastazeea, and a colt out of Warrawee Ashantee - Warrawee Impeerial Hit. The two anglos are for sale and reluctantly the colt foal out of Warrawee Ashantee - who will be an asset to a breeding program in the future. (see Sales List). The photos hereunder are of them as foals, photos of these foals as yearlings appear on the Sales Page.

Earlier in the year two races featuring Arabian horses were held at Moonee Valley and Caulfield a week apart. The first at Moonee Valley was run on the same day as a race featuring the wonderful Black Caviar - so a great turn up of spectators and was a great thrill for the large Arabian fraternity in attendance to support our Arabian horses. Kim Noble did Warrawee Stud proud riding the fabulous Warrawee Naaziq to victory - very decisively.

Lovely message from Jenni Beulke -
"Hi Pat - just wanted to send you this photo of Warrawee Magnifique and Warrawee Peeter Pan. The girl in the photo is my friend Grace who helps me work the horses. Grace has just recovered from a very bad accident that put her in a wheelchair and has had major surgery. After 6 months these two exceptional horses that you bred, have been part of her rehab to get back into riding again. Norbie (Warrawee Peeter Pan) had been turned out for winter and hadn't been ridden for around 5 months ..... he carried her around so kindly and Jordy (Magnifique) took her to her first PC rally a couple of weeks ago. They are a shining example of the outstanding quality of horses you breed. Jen. " So great to get news from owners like this - that is what makes breeding so worth while - thanks Jenni.
